What should I rest my mattress on?

Our beds are designed to lay on any hard, flat surface. We highly recommend the Bear Foundation paired with a bed frame. Other options include a platform bed, adjustable base, or the floor. We don't recommend using a traditional coil box spring, because it does not provide an evenly distributed surface area for foam-based mattresses.

Will Bear work for my sleep position?

YES, back, side, stomach and combo! If you are a side or combo sleeper we recommend Star Hybrid. If you are a back or stomach sleeper we recommend Bear Original. If you are a side sleeper we recommend Star Hybrid.
