Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Bobby attended the University of Arkansas where he was named the SEC Player of the Year and garnered All-American honors. In 2015, Bobby was selected in the 1st round by the Chicago Bulls. After playing his first 4 years with the Bulls, Bobby signed a multi-year contract with the New York Knicks and has proven to be an integral part of the teams' young core. Off the court, Bobby is passionate about giving back. He founded the Bobby Portis Foundation with the purpose of supporting and empowering single mothers in need.
