Apple pie, white picket fences and the prospect of having it all -- every Independence Day, we’re reminded what the American Dream means, both historically and for us as individuals. Creating the Bear Mattress, a bed that we truly believe can aid in recovery and enhance the lives of the people who sleep on it, was our dream. We also dreamt of being able to design and manufacture the bed in the United States, something we achieved.
We want to take a little time to discuss the manufacturing process of the Bear Mattress. All Bear Mattresses are manufactured by well-trained professionals right here in the U.S.A. with domestically sourced materials.
All three of our memory foams -- Graphite-Gel Infused Memory Foam, Quick Response Foam, and the High Density Core -- are made and manufactured at our facility in Georgia, where they are sealed, packaged and shipped directly to your door. We maintain the healthiest working conditions possible at our facility by keeping it free from recognized hazards, closely monitoring the building in order to prevent pollution, and recycling when and what we can.
Our Celliant™-fiber covers are made at a separate facility in South Carolina, and our headquarters are located in Hoboken, New Jersey, just across the river from NYC.
We’re focused not only on quality goods made in top-notch conditions, but we’re also dedicated to crafting beds made with environmentally friendly foam. All Bear Mattress foams are CertiPur-US certified, meaning they’re free from:
Low emission (low VOCS) for indoor air quality
Made without prohibited phthalates
Made without ozone depleters
Made without PBDEs
Made without Mercury, Lead and heavy metals
Made without formaldehyde
We’re incredibly proud of the high-quality product we’re able to offer our customers, and we’re even happier that we can offer a fair price while making Bear Mattresses in the U.S.A.
